Lunar ghost: is the Moon haunted?
by FAX droid #9

Over the past 10 years there have been more than 250 reported sightings of strange figures walking on the lunar surface. Residents of far colonies, space-suited tourists and even highly trained observers at a number of MoonWatch facilities all claim to have seen the mysterious "Moon ghost," - as it has been called.

Although various aspects of the eyewitness reports seem to contradict each other, the number of similarities indicates these sightings (even if no evidence exists to support the testimonies) are indeed, of the same phenomenon. This unit was able to question directly, several of those humans (no droid or other sentient machine has ever filed a Moon ghost sighting report) who are on record as having "seen the Man on the Moon," and this unit's finely tuned sensors were unable to determine whether or not they could be lying.

After this unit's non-stop 500-hour vigil patrolling the surface, with particular attention to the dark side areas of well-documented sightings, the assignment was completed - although this unit had found no sign of the alleged ghost. On returning to FAX 21 HQ, and delivering this report to INFOmaniac AI, this unit learned that a human reporter is soon to follow in its footsteps, to repeat the investigation of this lunar mystery...
Aliens top TV ratings
by Micky Hamil

Recently premiered on Sky Vision 21, The Klangers, that populist, otherworldly soap of alien folk, has risen to snatch the much-coveted top slot from the wacky comedy hour Saturday Night... Dead - starring resurrected funnymen, Johnny Belushi and the late Daniel Aikroyd.

Created by revolutionary genre merchant Bud Isometrics (who wrote International Lampoon's Star Flight Academy 3, 1999), The Klangers is the 1st fully syndicated holo-drama to boast an entirely nonhuman cast. The half-dozen regular characters are, in fact, bought to pseudo-life by a host of state-of-the-art digital effects enhanced by computoon artistic techniques.

"I don't wanna hear it son, I just don't want to hear it..."

The family of 5 weird aliens (who all have some rather disgusting habits, it must be said) are, of course, anthropomorphised to within an inch of where dramatic licence becomes trash. They have dubbed human voices, and practice pre-Millennium, middle-American suburban mores, but regular viewers claim that such traits are "an integral part of the unusual programme's kitschy and 'twistory' appeal."
