Pandemonium
by Micky Hamil The latest interactive children's 3D-TV show Pandemonium has triggered a new wave of live violence amongst the under-5s. Aired on Saturday mornings at 7 am, the webcasts are said to have, "an influential mind-exploding format, which drives kids to attack their older siblings and even their parents." An emphasis on dark humour, pranks, and sadistic games has drawn unprecedented audience figures for breakfast-timeslot viewing. The show's "I dare you!" spot has been singled out by 100s of irate mothers as being "dangerously irresponsible." It is claimed 3.4 grandmothers have died as a direct result of 'gags' played upon them by plucky youngsters taking up the show's challenge to "rag-a-wrinkly." No legal action is planned, but industry watchdogs promised to monitor the show's content. |
